Could I get a lift from you perhaps David?
I'm able to leave anytime and hopefully it's not too far out of your way.

Jen or me will bring an a vegetarian alternative pasta sauce.

If anyone else wants the vegetarian option, mention it below, so we know how much to bring.

I've just come into possession of a panettone, which I will contribute to the group meal.

Sounds like we've got everything but let me know if there's anything else I could bring.

Thanks to everyone who came along to this meet. Your presence made it magical.

Meet Report -Tyn Lon Jan 2019

We woke up to a rainy, windy day in Nant Peris. Despite the howling wind and the wet rain, psych was relatively high. Peter, Hayley, Will, Karl and Lisa had a family day out on a mountain [insert unpronounceable name here]. At the top, we had the pleasure of bumping into Vicky and Dave C, who’d come up the mountain of mystery through the slate mines. By this point, the weather was pretty awful. We soldiered on and bagged another small peak at which point Peter, Dave and Will decided to continue up to Y Garn whilst Hayley, Karl, Vicky and myself followed Karl’s questionable route off the mountain and straight into the pub (via a hot shower and dry clothes). Sam did a solo mission, following the family day out but sadly our paths did not cross. Jen, Tom and Dave P had a wet adventure up another mountain I can’t pronounce or remember, but I’m sure it was lovely. John had a case of severe man flu and so wisely remained in the warmth of the hut, thankfully he made sure the fire was (kind of) roaring by the time we all returned. Thanks John!!

In the evening we feasted on spag bol, garlic bread, salad and Cranachan prepared lovingly by some of the group and eaten ravenously by all. Special thanks to Dave P and his Ode to a Haggis, in celebration of Burns night. After tea it was back to the pub we went for a spot of pool and darts (Hayley’s first intro into the world of darts produced many a hole in the pub's wall). We then retired back to the hut to play a few rounds of Jenga (following Karl’s questionable Jenga rules).

On Sunday morning we awoke to the glorious sight of snow on the mountain tops. The picturesque scene being somewhat deceiving when it was found to be far too windy to attempt Crib Goch by Peter and John. Tom and Jen made a trip to the climbing wall and the rest of the group headed up to the slate mines and through some dark and wet tunnels.

Safe to say, a gay old time was had by all.
