What did people get done?
I learnt this morning that there were teams climbing on RTF on Helvellyn yesterday!

Managed to salvage some walking on Saturday - Sheffield Pike and Glenridding Dod (Dave, went on and did Birkhouse Moor)
Sunday, Dave, Kev and I went up to Birkhouse Moor. Kev elected to come down. Then the two of us went up Stridding Edge to Helvellyn, down Swirral Edge. Ticked off Catstye Cam (because it was there)
Then back for tea and medals

Vicky and I opted for Hole in the wall to Swirral Edge then across the tops to Dollywaggon Pike and down Grisedale.

JR - there were a lot of people about on RTF but the few we spoke to suggested that the gully lines were the only things potentially in and that was debatable I would say.

Sunday afternoon I had a quick blast up into 'the white room' of Skiddaw summit - only windward ground was refrozen above 800m. I had a nice coating of rime at one point!

Andy - I followed your car for a short way on the way home yesterday, which was an amusing co-incidence!

We followed a 'Pet Transport' van for most of the journey. We were very perplexed by the German flag with the colours in the wrong order.

You're welcome Andy :D

Was a fab weekend considering the forecast! No wintery stuff for me as there wasn't enough winter for it to class as a 'winter walk'.

Saturday we all went up Glenridding Dodd and Sheffield Pike. The wind was a bit blowy on Sheffield Pike!
Sunday Sue, John, Sam and I walked up the valley to Grisdale Tarn then up and over Seat Sandal.

So a 3 Wainwright weekend for me, not bad for someone who hill walks twice a year....

Thanks all for coming!!
