Sure I'll put you down! That's everyone bar Ruth - anyone have her contact details to ask if she wants to join also?

Any preferences on spiciness? I'll get a few boxes of the normal strength and some nacho stuff for a starter. Will cost it up once I've got it all.

Andy how much for your tart?

Depending on whether the forecast improves or not I'm hoping to head up Friday late morning/early afternoon for a shortish walk before then heading to the hut. Happy to offer lifts or share a lift. Leaving from Guiseley.

I'm only in Farsley, happy to give you a lift as I can come through there, I have the hut key so means you won't be left out in the cold! Off work Friday so was going to head up in the morning and either walk or bimble about somewhere and have a cuppa!

Hi Sarah, a lift up on Friday morning would be fab, thank you. Obviously happy to share petrol and flexible on times to suit you.

Bought all the food and it works out bang on £5 quid each so it's about £5.60 a person including Andy's tart!

Weather is looking wonderful (not) so I'm bringing waterproofs and a large book....

I appear to have a meteological rival! D-wis! ;-)

BTW - I'm going to be in the north Lakes this w/e - might see some of you up high on Sunday.

Cheers,

Sue and I are heading up for about 3/3:30. Parking for the hut I believe is directly behind. Please do not park in the car park opposite this as that is for Grisedale Lodge. There should be enough space for 7 or 8 cars, if it is full there are parking places along the road to Patterdale.

See you soon!!

Be aware of a Flood Alert currently in place for the Patterdale area, with particular concern about the risk of flooding from Glenridding Beck later today:

https://flood-warning-information.servi ... a/011WAFLO

Don't drive through any big puddles if you aren't sure how deep they are

Whether you approach from the north or the south, if the river or Ullswater Lake levels get high, there is a risk of sections of the road being underwater for a time.
