Is anyone interested in joining me for some mountain biking fun times on 10th October?

I'm thinking this will be somewhere in the southern Dales (not too far to drive) and will be more of a cross country escapade with lovely views and cruising across the tops as opposed to any gnarly downhill craziness (although that can be arranged if it's what the people want?). I've got a few options / ideas up my sleeve depending on ability / weather conditions so will sort out specifics nearer the time.

But for now, does anyone want to play out?

Really sorry I can no longer make it as our holiday this weekend has been postponed a week because of the weather, which now clashes with your wonderful ride, frustrating! Hope someone else fancies taking my place. Thanks for organising.

This does mean that there's one last space available for this and the weather is currently looking somewhat promising!

I've also decided on a route which will give us a couple of options should the group be feeling more (or less) adventurous / energetic.

Meeting in Settle Greenfoot car park at 10am. No car sharing at the moment I'm afraid. All covid rules apply, so no cafe stops either. That hurts.

The route will take us along the Pennine Bridleway to Malhamdale and then round the back of Attermire Scar for a delighful 20(ish) km of fun times. Nothing too crazy or intensive, just splendid views and mud shredding aplenty.
