Horseshoe Quarry 17th August

Postby SarahS » Tue Aug 13, 2019 7:51 am

Greetings

It is the Horseshoe Quarry meet this Saturday. Long range forecast looks pap so I'm leaning towards cancelling unless the weather gods perform a miracle...!

Post below if you intend to come!

For those who have never been it is a bolted quarry in the Peak. BMC has recently rebolted a lot of it so it is better than it once was! :)

Hello Chew! As this is a club meet please ensure that you have registered on the website as a provisional member at the very least as this then means you are covered by the BMC insurance for 3 months, even better if you sign up as a paid member. :D

The weather gods have provided, forecast is looking much better. Hayley and Helen do you want to lift share? Helen where are you based? 8)

That's handy was already planning to lift share with Hayley - I'm based in Armley

Also, in case people don't have peak lime or the old northern lime guidebooks (like myself). Horseshoe has free topo's available at http://www.sportsclimbs.co.uk/mainpages ... Quarry.htm ( note not updated for routes BMC deemed dangerous/ poor quality in the recent rebolting extravaganza )
