The Felltop Assessors' winter conditions reports for the Lake District start from tomorrow:

There is a link to the Weatherline site where the reports are posted at the bottom of the article.

Hi Andy

Although I've offered to bring a trifle, I'm not sure if if it's needed as you already have a choice of 3 puds for people to choose from.

Never having been before I'm happy to take your advice on what to bring instead. I'm wondering about either some cheese to go with the cake, some Bailey's or mince pies. What do you think?

Been a bit slow off the mark on this one, but......I have a rather sophisticated cat bingo (not an oxymoron I assure you).
I may slip it in the car just in case....themes and all.

BTW, are we going bistro or any such thing? Do we need to pop fairy lights in, perchance?

Yes, we should have a bistro setting. Bring the game along, what could go wrong . . .

Yeah, decorations, candles and the like.

I too have got some festive lights I could bring if so desired.

We also have Alices cake. Some cheese would be lovely . . .

OK - we should now be sorting out lifts. Who is going when and with whom?

Andy,

well it makes sense that you and I travel over. Theoretically I can fit two more assuming no-one's bringing bikes.

More than happy to get to yours after work

Also looking at the food list, we seem to be short on cheese and wine, so i'll bring some along....

Ok Chew, no problem - message or text me for my address. It'll be good to have a rough idea of time.

Cheers,

Alcohol is usually a personal purchase (it can get fiddly working out who drank what), however, bring some cheeses. Also remember to take a note how much you've spent.
