GDPA means we've already had a purge of the members database (removing those who haven't been paid-up members for a certain length of time) - it's definitely a good point to continue to do this elsewhere.

Generally I'd suggest that people just put their phone numbers in the contacts section, and then add their addresses just for the duration of their requirement for meet leadership.

JR.

I would suggest a straight forward list with real names and others in brackets if needed and a contact phone number and then each person can choose what other info they then include. There seems to be some sort of fear about addresses which I do not understand.

Mr. Rob Butler - the treasurer has let me know you paid your subs.
Could you please fill in the application form, including your emergency contact (so, in the event of something tragic, we know where to send your ashes)

Feedback on contact details has been discussed by the committee and old details in the private section removed.

Paul - the issue with a phone number list is of course that someone needs to update it and this can easily become out of date if the original poster forgets or moves on from the club

We suggest that meet leaders post their own details in the private section - I have added more details in that forum.

Thanks to everyone who weighed in, hopefully this will prevent any more confusion in the future but if it continues to cause problems please speak up and we can try something else.

Really looking forward to my first weekend meet (although slightly nervous!), just wondering if possible to have a lift from Leeds somewhere. I live in Headingley but obviously can travel to you. Alternatively I am happy to book myself on a train.

Hi Kate, hold fire there!
Dave will help co ordinate lifts, but we don’t usually sort out this early!
Just to say don’t buy a train ticket...

Thanks for replies. I can bring salad for the shared meal on Saturday. I can leave any time on the Friday as I'm not working that day.

Hi everyone,
I'll be needing a lift. I live in York but can get to Leeds for about 6pm I think.
Any takers? I am great car company ;)

Car transport

Paul Hudson - I will be going down fairly early on Friday from Headingley but not returning on the Sunday as I am off elsewhere. Others will be returning though.

Karl's asked for final numbers now, so we'll cap it at 17 unless anyone squeaks loudly... Don't forget to post up about food and transport!

I'm up for communal meal. Happy to do veggie filling, peppers, mushrooms, onion and maybe quorn pieces. Just need some idea of numbers.
