I actually think that 9 on a door frame edge is very respectable. Unless it's one of those fat juggy ones you get in old houses.

Best of my attempts this afternoon was 11 on Beastmaker 1000 jugs - so roughly equivalent to a pull-up bar.

(Probably not the most accurate baseline as I'd spent the previous couple of hours sawing through trees I'm taking down by hand!)

Hmm, I've managed to do only 2 pull-ups!
In my defence I was using a door frame which has the ledge of 11 mm. It felt like tips of my fingers are being pulled from my hands. I think I will not continue doing so as it may destroy my tendons. I shall try to organise impromptu pull up bar somehow and will join in properly next week.

No worries, I’ve submitted a provisional benchmark for you. I reckon people have until Monday next week to sum it their benchmarks

Keep the entries coming guys. Some strong starts, joey be careful on that banister man, don’t want you falling down the stairs.

Dave you should have taken your trousers off next week!

OK, so I've cut the broom stick in half and made a pull-up bar. I managed 6 in total :)

Pull up bar resurrected. I've managed two pull ups and a lot of grunting.
