Pull Up comp Week 5

Postby Hsmith89 » Thu Apr 16, 2020 8:51 am

I'll be running the Pull Up Comp for the next few weeks so if you want to take part for Week 5 get your pull up figure to me over the next few days then see if you can better your attempt by next Tuesday. Simples!

For all you swole climbers already on the roster I want to see some big gainz for next week! No excuses...

I've just managed 5 but the fifth took a full Sharma power scream to get my chin over the bar. Sadly Rob was on a call so no video evidence this week

Back with a healed hand and a steady 8. Looking for improvement next week...

Any tips on breathing patterns?

I seem to be resolutely limited to a maximum of 14, and that's after being a bit more considered on my warm up.

Think I need to change things up this week if I'm actually going to see any progress.

JR.

PS. I can do several more with my chin only slightly lower, so I just need to work out which muscle group is limiting me there.

I breathe out on the way up.

... And then pant a bit when finished.

No change at four. I'm improving my form and the reps will come with time... Maybe.

And the Winner of the biggest pull-up GAINZ this week quite rightly goes to Penelope Ann Newell, congratulations you won with a massive 33.333333% improvement! Here is your mega certificate courtesy of Karl.

Next week it could be YOU! Is it time to switch tactics? more/less panting? Change your pull-up device? Try Will Hunt's Nate Dogg Protocol method or just quit moaning and start yanking within an inch of your life.

Just remember, there can only be one winner!

The hunt for the biggest pull-up gains in the LMC, continues........
