LMC Tshirts 2021?

Postby Lindsay M » Wed Oct 07, 2020 11:50 am

There has been some murmurs about wanting 2021 LMC merchandise so I'm just wanting to gauge interest to see if enough people want it to make it viable.

Last year we had these (we will have Hayley's design updated to say 2021 for this run, polo shirts would be unchanged):
Men's polo shirt, with LMC embroidered logo (£10.50): https://www.our-catalogue.com/PRSE/?p=SS5
Women's likewise (£10.50): https://www.our-catalogue.com/PRSE/?p=SS89

Men's t-shirt, with Hayley's amazing design (£12.50): https://www.our-catalogue.com/PRSE/?p=SS6
Women's likewise (£12.50): https://www.our-catalogue.com/PRSE/?p=SS77
Women's fitted t-shirt with Hayley's amazing design (£12.50): https://www.our-catalogue.com/PRSE/?p=SS705

After feedback that the tshirt material was a bit rough (burlap has been mentioned) I have looked into other options and found these organic cotton ones which have a more limited colour range but may be better quality. I don't know the exact price but it would be more expensive, I'm guessing in the range £15-£18.

If the prevailing vote is for organic cotton, we can get some samples to confirm quality. If it is to stick with the same ones as before then there are quite a few in circulation that you can have a look at.

Cast your votes and feel free to discuss below.

The ladies' fitted tee is described as "Fruit of the Loom softspunTM" instead of "Fruit of teh Loom value" so maybe the quality was better I dunno. I'm keen on the "fitted" bit. The organic ladies tee also looks good and there are still several colours I'd have to choose between even tho there are fewer than with the other tees.

It was a fairly even split of complainees from the male and female camps but you might be right. It's looking like the consensus is to change to the organic cotton variety, and I will bear in mind that fitted is preferable for the ladies fit.

Bump - any more opinions?

Tshirts are looking popular but we also are set up for hoodies, polos and beanies if people want tshirt alternatives.

Trust you would ask such a question! Obviously, propelled me to do a little research: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beanie_(seamed_cap) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knit_cap . I'm up for a beanie too, have to look cool on those long and cold bouldering nights.
