I think it’s probably full, and have already booked a guest in so can’t book someone else (the rule is each member can book for one other) - sorry! When I finally get post I’ll find out if it is full, and let you know then, and either get a cheque to me ASAP or ask someone else to do so on your behalf.

The post has finally arrived - I've updated the original post with those cheques that arrived today and were posted prior to my "please wait before sending any more" message - which was in fact the right call; the meet is now full and I believe there are two more cheques (maybe second class stamps - only first class things have arrived?) in the post.

That said, I will be accepting applications for the waiting list in the usual manner, so the 'please wait' can be disregarded.

There are also two who dropped notes in, but haven't paid; if you haven't paid by Friday - ten days after the meet opened, I'm being pretty generous here - these places will go to the people on top of the waiting list...
