Ninja Warrior

After some initial interest in the pub, I will most likely set a date for LMC ninja warrior. Self booked on https://ninjawarrioruk.co.uk/leeds/ninja-warrior-uk-adventure-park/. Could people give me their preferred day of the week please? I imagine it will be better to go for a weekday due to the eas...

Still haven't done a single route at this hallowed crag except one second dog in the rain so it will inevitably tip it down. Sorry all.

Re: Morocco trip 2024

Thanks for the link norbert. November or December appears to be the best balance of sufficiently warm but not too warm. Although it does risk competing with those who also want to go sport climbing that year. So late March or early April could also work. I'm still sorting this summer out so until I'...

Dave, Tom and I are going together. Hopefully these Alpine club members will be lift sharing too or we are going to have to play car tetris.

Re: Morocco trip 2024

An update on this; Luke, Graham and I are going for about two weeks and staying North of Tafraoute or perhaps even north of the mountains. All the crags seem to be on the north side and the guesthouses are on the south side so we haven't settled on where to stay yet. It's looking like perhaps mid Ja...

Re: Patterdale and the George Starkey Hut - 27th to 28th Jan 2023

Ok I'm definitely coming, weather looks good enough for some bouldering (looking for someone to go with, probs Sunday) or scrambling (gonna do up Eagle Crag original route, around to St Sunday Crag and up Broad Buttress then down pinnacle ridge.) @Dave C , I'm going from Bramley Friday, are you inte...

Re: Raeburn Hut - Scottish Highlands Central - January 13th and 14th

Thanks to those who did most of the cleaning up. I got home at 1am as it was!

Mad amounts of snow and literally every route in condition which isn't bad for so early in the year.

Re: 2022 - That old year!

2022 My goal was to get to way more LMC meets and hopefully climb outside more as a result and I certainly managed that. Any grade improvements are merely a result of the above I'd say. Although I'd like to say I'm very proud of three pebble slab. 2023 My main goal for the year is probably professi...

Re: Raeburn Hut - Scottish Highlands Central - January 13th and 14th

I'm probably too early on this and it will get missed but things to bring are: Drinking water, Sleeping bag, pillow case, towel and maybe your own pillow. Also, the more we can lift share the better considering the price of fuel. I think I'll be leaving West Leeds around 10am on Friday and coming ba...
