Yeah, I'm now going to be in the Peak from tomorrow morning, so I'm staying over - see you in Bonsall!

Rosi - FYI - I've got Clare's B2 boots for you to borrow in my possession and I'll be bringing them down with me.
With the loss of my two lift shares I might now head down on Saturday and get out with some of my Peak mates & stay over.

Apparently (according to the Internet) the Modern Male (tm) spends most of their time thinking about the Roman Empire these days... apparently...

Re: DRY TOOLING & WINTER PREP MEET - Masson - 1st Oct
Right then, if I pick up Mr Kisala in Pudsey, who else is near that neck of the woods who could converge there? Let's say two other people max to keep it comfortable given the kit we'll also be carrying. It's a fair trek from Leeds to that end of the Peak (about 80 miles). Also, again, I'd re-iterat...

I'm leading a meet for the CC based just outside Clapham, so, if you're hitting the pub post-walk - let me know as I'm likely in the area.

Interested, but I might need to use this day to complete a DIY job, unfortunately.

Re: Castle Naze Saturday 23rd Sept
I'm busy (leading a meet for another club!) but hopefully we'll both have good weather and a decent turnout!
I do have a soft spot for Castle Naze.

If it's dry, Emm, there's one wall that should be climbable at this time of year.

Here's a question - does the hostel now have somewhere secure to stash bikes? I recall in the past it being a bit limited.
There's a great (mtb) loop that with a tiny bit of modification can go straight past the hostel.

Re: Troller's Gill Sat Sept 2nd
I'm going to nominally say 10:30am there.
Almasa - you and John (JWA) are both Harrogate way, so it makes sense for you to share transport (there's not a great deal of parking, either at the upper or lower places). Us Bingley/Shipley lot will try and share too.

3 years?! I'm sure I only got back on it last Easter! (I'm ignoring my first attempt on it in 2005!)
John - snacks are always welcome - if only for the belayer!
Plus there is now some really easy stuff there that should be fine for duff elbows.
