Almscliff 7th June

Post by hburns »

It's the first Tuesday of the month, so that means it's time to enjoy our local Almost Cliff (https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/almscliff-373) yet again.

REMEMBER you're not welcome if you plan to park like a dick or walk on the wall but you are welcome if you're signed up, know how to lead belay and own your own harness, shoes and belay device.

For those that finish their climbs before last orders we'll also be going to the Hunters Inn afterwards (DO NOT GET BENIGHTED AT ALMSCLIFF!)

Hey, I’m planning to come, it’ll be the first outdoor evening I’ve made it to so hoping I remember what any of you look like. Silly question but what time do people arrive and will it be obvious to find you?!
Thanks! Emily

Hi Emily, people tend to arrive after work, as soon as practical… I should be there early (5?) and in an LMC t-shirt (it looks to be warm enough…), as I would guess will some others, or alternatively look for the large friendly group - it’ll probably be us! We’re most likely to be at Low Man to start, at least some of us, which is the clean wall that you find if you walk through the boulders on your right once you enter the field the crag is in!
