To whet your appetites for the forthcoming slide night here are abstracts from David:
"Many of you know that I spent two years as a post-doc in Gothenburg - what you perhaps don't know is how I spent my weekends while I was there... The answer is that there's a long-distance trail, the Bohusleden, which I did in stages. Out and back each nice weekend by public transport, working my way up the coast, sleeping on beaches, in forests and by lakes, through winter and summer, up to the Norwegian border. I took my camera with me all the way, so this talk will be a selection of the best moments of that wandering walk, with some deviations to other sights on the way, and a smattering of history, culture and maybe even fika to boot!"
and Sara & Andy:
You have had big mountain adventure talks, presentations on the hardships associated with adventuring in inhospitable climes, tales of daring do in inaccessible places, rock climbs with daredevil consequences, and now we would like to present a humble account and Sara, Andy, Steve and Paul’s holiday snaps of their Italian odyssey: The Bocchette Way. A spectacular hut to hut via ferrata limestone journey across the Brenta Dolomites.
