Anyone planning to be at the talk on Monday or wall on Tuesday so I can hand over the meets book?

Hi all,
After a very frustrating time negotiation with work it turns out that I cannot escape my Friday night/ Saturday shift this week, so I will have to withdraw from the meet unfortunately.

Gutted....

If there is a waiting list out there Neil then I can pass my spot onto them? I see that Paulina was seeking a space.

I have chatted to a few people over the past few weeks who seemed keen so am sure it will be snapped up by somebody.

Cheers,
Will

Thanks for offering to collect the meets book Dave.

From the posts that people have written, it sounds like these will be the travel arrangements:
Dave and Mike in one car.
Karl and Lisa in one car.
JR in one car.
Will S, Sandra and me in one car.

Ruth, please can you post on here to let me know how you will be travelling to the hut?

Will S and I will get to the hut on Wednesday evening. Look forward to seeing you all there!

Hey guys,
I'm very happy I can make this meet!
Weather permitting, I'll make my own way to the cottage on Thursday evening.
Is anyone doing easy-ish stuff I could join in?
e.g. the rock climbing looked great. Also, anyone planning to go skiing at all?

Cheers
Paulina

Sorry to hear that Mike.

Paulina, I'd be happy to go for a climb, scramble or walk on Friday. I have a rack and a pair of half ropes with me. It looks like the weather will be improving towards the end of the week so hopefully it will be possible to do some rock climbing

JR, since Mike's pulled out would you be wanting to lift-share? I'm pretty flexible as to leaving time since I've got the Wednesday off.

AS you may or may not be aware, I'm based in Shipley.
I'm constrained to leave after work on Wednesday, so if you're ok with the extra distance for you to travel, you can head to mine.
We may as well travel in my car as it's a large estate and I basically bought it for this kind of journey!

On thing to note is that Paulina and I have a tentative plan to climb at Dunkeld on the way back on Sunday, so that obviously constrains you as well.

Let me know if you're still interested and I'll send you my address - is your number in the private section?

Cheers,

JR.

I'm fine popping over to Shipley, and agree that a large estate would be much better than my little hatchback... R.e. Sunday I quite like the idea of getting partway back before the day's activities!

I don't think my number is in the private section, so have messaged it to you.

Hi
I'm going up on Wednesday morning and expect to get there by about 4pm. Is there a key or do I lurk somewhere until someone arrives with it?

Will and i will arrive at the hut on Wednesday evening. It sounds like Karl and Lisa may arrive before us.

Ruth please can you send me your phone number so I can contact you on Wednesday about getting access to the hut?

Hi Neil, thanks for this. I might be climbing with JR on Friday, but we can discuss further plans/timings when I get there on Thursday if that's ok. Looking fwd to it :)
