Pembroke 27th - 29th August
Pembroke 27th - 29th August
THE BEST MEET OF THE YEAR!
The Pembroke meet will be taking place the end of August bank holiday. We usually stay at the Bosherston campsite here;
https://goo.gl/maps/CzjptSqqHyRwi68F9
Its a SUPER BASSic campsite with only one cold shower and a couple of porta loos but it's only £4.00 per night. There is alternative camping near by;
Trefalen Farm https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/deta ... revid=6021
&
St Petrox http://stpetroxcampingandcaravansite.co.uk/contact-us_1
Both with more facilities but will need to be booked in advance.
Pembroke has a good mix of adventurous sea cliff climbing at most grades, to access the best of the climbing some experience abseiling will be helpful.
Covid Stuff:
This meet takes place in Wales so Welsh covid regulations apply. There are currently no restrictions on numbers meeting out doors and their current plan is to lift all restrictions on the 7th
of August, however this is subject to change.
I plan on heading down early on Wednesday morning (25th) returning on Bank Holiday Monday. I have space in my car for another, possibly 2 if you pack lightish if anyone would like a lift let me know.
Post up below to sign up.

Re: Pembroke 27th - 29th August
Me and Karolina are double booked as it is with our trip to Poland. Having said that if Covid messes our abroad trip we are totally going to Pembroke. It is the place to be!

Sign me up please. I'm considering booking Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun nights for Trefalen Farm camping as it's only a walk down the road.
Re: Pembroke 27th - 29th August
FYI Trefalen Farm just replied to me saying they're taking bookings for a minimum of 6 nights in August. (That's too long for me.)

25th to 30th August for me (5 nights). Although if the 6 night rule is a thing, happy to pay for the 6th night anyway?
Re: Pembroke 27th - 29th August
Very keen on this! Not got a partner though.
Anyone else in the same boat? Climbing upto HVS. Happy to do some easier stuff too.
Probably travelling down Thursday and back Monday but can be flexible.

I got the week off so will head down Monday if there's people to climb with and the weather plays ball.
