The Annual Dinner - Nov 19-21 - Ingleton YHA

Post by Hsmith89 »

Update: Bookings close 30th October

It's the LMC's Annual Dinner after a 2-year hiatus and what a weekend we have planned in the glorious Yorkshire Dales!

This years LMC Annual Dinner is at the Ingleton YHA
https://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/yha-ingleton

Approx 1.5hr drive from Leeds and 30-mins from Kendal in the Lake District. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the pretty village of Ingleton with Ingleborough towering behind the hostel. It's 2-mins walk from the Wheatsheaf and Three Horse Shoes pubs too and the famous Ingleton Waterfall trail is on your doorstep. Get ready for a magnificent weekend exploring the local countryside with caves, waterfalls, limestone crags, mountain bike trails and mountains.

A recent review...

Beautiful location, excellent service, spotlessly clean, what a find this is. Felt very safe with clear procedures and plentiful hand gel. The locally sourced sausage and bacon baps for breakfast were delicious. The beds were very comfy and the shower hot and powerful. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Your weekend itinerary

Arrive anytime after 4pm on Friday evening and relax in the hostel lounge or head to the local pubs, there's a chippie and a couple of great local restaurants just a short walk from the hostel.

Each morning you'll be served a full cooked breakfast (available 8:00-9:00am) with a selection of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, juice, Yorkshire tea (ofcourse), coffee and toast with a selection of jams & marmalade.

On Saturday night after your day of adventure we'll be kicking off the annual dinner at 7pm with a three course dinner followed by an evening of festivities, we have a few surprises in store too but we'll be keeping tight-lipped about them so you'll have to wait and see! It's BYOB so make sure you bring your tipple of choice for the evening, there is a few local shops in Ingleton if you forget.

On Sunday morning check-out is midday so after breakfast make sure you pack up before heading out onto the hills for another (slightly weary) day's adventure.

Ticket price: £68 per person
Spaces available: 54

What's included?
- Two nights in the Ingleton YHA
- Two breakfasts
- Three course dinner on Saturday night BYOB
