Summer Bash - Langdale - 2022/07/08-09

Post by TayRex »

This years auspicious Summer Bash will now be held at Bays Brown Farm in Langdale.

Raised fire pits and barbecues allowed until 11pm, so join us for a BBQ on Saturday night.

£12.50pppn

Arrive between 2pm and 8pm and pay for camping BEFORE pitching tents.

Unfortunately the DoE field of Bayes Brown is out of action as it's too wet. Therefore we will have to commander a corner of the regular field. When you arrive, tell the staff you are with LMC and they will tell you where we are based. Unfortunately, I won't arrive until 2000-2100 Friday, so others will have to start the process off. It should be easy to find a plot big enough for us all.

Additionally, we have been asked to remind you all that it's a family campsite. Please be quiet after 11pm, no loud music, no getting drunk, naked, ransacking or attempting to set up ponzie schemes across the campsite.

It looks great!
Do you think the campsite would do any deals for us, for a small tents with just one person?
It’s 25 quid a night, not bad for 2folks, but a bit steep for one!
#Just wondered…….

£25 for a pitch with up to two adults with extra adults at £5pppn on the same pitch. Best crack out the big tents and get friendly for maximum value if they don't do deals. But leave the gazebo at home because that costs as much as an extra person...

I have a stupid-huge tent that’ll easily fit 6. Could lug that along?

Is this the cost of living crisis everyone's been banging on about?

If you aren't lording it up on your own in a 6 man tent, you aren't living.
