Think I'm going to just chance it that my car survives the journey and drive myself.

There's room for one more if anyone is feeling daring.

Hope you all have a great time;
Tayah has a great birthday;
and someone brings some string to repair Graham's exhaust! ;-)

Anyone welcome to join for walk.

We will be there late Friday night, so may not see people until Saturday morning.

I'll be at campsite for 9.30am then we can agree walk with the aim.of not setting off later than 10am. Hope that suits walkers.

So now I seem to be driving alone! If someone still needs a lift tell me.

Well, isn't this campsite lovely! The camping field isn't particularly well signposted though. Follow Google maps to Hallows Farm, Kewick. There is a sign up a single track lane to the farm, camping and b&b. The camping is a left turn (small sign) before the farm. Hopefully I'll be the only one to drive all over the farm and get rescued my Helen!

Update from Helen regarding camping location at farm.

LMC campers aim to be on pitches from the hut to my van on the right. I can move the pitch markers and get cozy

Campsite co ords for borrowdale: 54.5421293, -3.1609042

On the way to hollows farm there's a teeny tiny sign that says campsite left farm straight on. Take the left and then another teeny tiny sign saying open field left go in that field

Also 3 LMCers so far have reported coming back with ticks. Please check yourselves and remove ticks if necessary

... the implication being that failure to pay results in getting ticked! ;-)

Thanks for the heads up - one on each ankle, and yes James, I did pay!

Our team of 5 at Woden Face yesterday had two with ticks when we got back to the car park. One of us had a tick remover, so they were removed there and then.
