MEET CANCELLED
The heart of the Lake District and the Historical home of Rock Climbing, Wasdale Head campsite gives perfect access to Scafell and Gable. It's £6 per night, tents only on site, but vans can park on nearby 'triangle'. No booking, just turn up and pay at the hotel reception.
I would like to climb multi pitch classics, anything up to and including VS. I currently am not partnered up for this meet, so would be interested in teaming up with anyone who wants to climb similar stuff.
Post below if you intend to attend.
Cheers

Definitely keen for this! Similar idea to John of classic multipitches, maybe a grade or two easier though…

I am keen for this, yeah. Would be good to get some introductory multipitch practice in and I'm sure anything in the Lakes will not disappoint.

Yes pleaseee.
Re: 24th/25th June Wasdale Head
Highly likely. I'm more likely to spend Saturday doing as many hills as I can, than climbing

Turns out Lucasz and I are 'in the area' see you at the crag or the pub afterwards.

I would like to get over there on Friday morning, or even Thursday night if anyone else is able to do that.
I can offer a lift from north Leeds.
Post below what your travel arrangements might be and what it is you are hoping to do.
Cheers

I’m also leaving from North Leeds, but have a couple of meetings I can’t shift, so would be looking to get away at 3… can also offer, or accept, a lift!

Do you want to share lifts, since we’re aiming for about the same time? Happy to drive to you or vice versa!hewood wrote:I'm in too! Also planning to leave from west Leeds mid-afternoonish so likewise happy to take or offer a lift!

I'd like to come on this, please.
Happy to have or give a lift, I guess with JR and/or Clare? Leaving Bingley anytime from 5.

I'm going to make a decision after I've seen this afternoon's MWIS forecast.
Thus far, it's not looking conducive for climbing on Scafell - and that's the reason why I'd be going

Yeah, the forecast has got a lot worse since I checked yesterday... Will hold off on a decision until later too...
