Les Holbert

Post by Sherpa Kenzing »

I received a sad message this morning that Les died earlier today. He was a long standing member who joined our club in the early 1980's. He served on the committee for a number of years and was a frequent attender on LMC meets. Les was also involved with me and Paul Hudson in a number of LMC Expeditions to Pakistan, Bolivia and Mongolia. He was such a lovely character always positive, I also worked for Les in the fields cutting Leeks and Broccoli in my long Summer holidays. A really super guy and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts are now with Gillian and Emma.
