John, I've just tried to message you about the remaining places - but you've turned private messages off on the bulletin board!

He was my message!

"Hi John,

Are those spare places still available on your Italy trip?
If so, I'd like to express an interest, and ask about logistics (which could well turn out to be the deal breaker if there are no flights left!)
Where are you lot flying from and to? What's the car hire situation like? i.e. would there be space for me and my luggage should I be able to come?

Hope all's well with you (and your tiramisu!)

Cheers,

James."

Hi James,

Not sure why you don't have my number, as I've known you for years. :)

we have been booked for over ten months now, as we knew the flights would increase.

will be in Milan Bergamo on the 23rd - 30th May, there is also a train that comes to the village chiavenna.

will send you my number.

apologies have been extremly busy, but now back to adventues !

We had a wonderful week in Italy at the end of may unusually warm again, huge avalache risk up high, we actually witnessed a few whilst out.

Team managed to summit Spadolazzo 2722m at the head of the midesimo valley in winter conditions with some very soft and somewhat negotiable cornice action.

a kayak accross lake como 4mile return trip, and a big hike to the aquafraggia lake 1800m from the house, we will return to italy next year.

as well as plenty of via ferrata good company food and beer.

Pictures are here. (CENSORED)
