Hi there, I can offer three seats if that's of use to anyone? Departing from Pontefract, but can call through Leeds en route?

I've got Friday booked off, so can depart anytime after 09:00 (school run).

👍 I'd be working so I'd only be able to go afternoon - I'd need to travel from outside Bradford to Leeds as well.

Joey/JR have you sorted lifts yet?

Thanks

If you're driving at all on the A1/M1 could I meet you somewhere and I'll come with you? We can share driving if you like too.

I can leave anytime on Friday but would prefer after 3 if possible

I'll be coming from Durham if that helps for coordinating

Sounds like a plan, I’m on 07738815606 if that’s easier to sort?

I'd be keen for a lift too! I live in Armley but can get elsewhere if that helps. Free on Friday.

RE transport - as stated earlier, I can take Friday off if needed - but I'm a bit out on a limb being in the 'far West' (i.e. Shipley).

If I'm driving I prefer not to have to head back east as it adds another hour to my journey going up that side (and crossing over at the A66).

I has holding off pending discussions with ski-tourers in the club, but it looks very unlikely that the Coire Adair area will be in for touring by the time we get to this coming w/e, so they've not booked on, meaning I will have space in my car.

Top weekend everyone - despite my concerns about the forecast (and forecast avalanche conditions!) it all turned out pretty damn well (if a bit 'wadey')

A proper mountaineery type day on Saturday doing the East Ridge of Beinn a'Chaorainn, that, given the snow depth and quality, was definitely a lot more like climbing than a 'winter scramble'.
Myself and my mate Kyle queuing to do the Haston Line in Scneacdha yesterday.

In other news, the Highlands are still a bloody long way away and doing over 700 miles of driving in a weekend does seem a bit excessive!

Great meet this year. Thanks Pete for leading.

Top conditions and loads of snow about. Pete's made a google shared photo drive:

I've added mine, Miles' and Joey's photos to the drive too.

I had a great first meet - thanks very much to all!

Thanks to those who did most of the cleaning up. I got home at 1am as it was!

Mad amounts of snow and literally every route in condition which isn't bad for so early in the year.
