I've dusted the cobwebs off my cheque book (last used FIVE years ago) and will get my cheque in post after work

Me please! Is it possible to bank transfer or do I need to send a cheque? If so, I’ll post today

Get a cheque or promise to pay into my hands - quickly, looking at the numbers who’ve said they are keen…

My K shoes cheque took over a week to arrive by first class carrier pigeon. Birds aren't what they used to be..

Covid problems with the post. Poor Ponting doesn't even have any birthday cards!

No post again today, but they came round with parcels for next door, so asked - apparently have been ignoring letters for now because 2/3 of the office are down with covid…
Will attempt to decipher an order of priority, if needed, when things arrive “in the next few days”, based on postmark date/cheque date, since this is obviously a very atypical situation.
I think based on those that have said they posted a cheque - Sarah, Andy, Kirsty, Dave, Avery, John, Clare - that the meet might already be full (even though Helen has negotiated an extra two places), so if you haven’t already posted anything, I’d wait until I update with that list when I actually get post. I’ll also not accept hand-delivery as taking precedence over that list, though any hand delivered would still be accepted for the reserve list. Is there anyone else who posted a cheque but hasn’t mentioned it?
And, yes, I’m almost certainly more frustrated about it than you are - I’d quite like some birthday cards to turn up…
And we have been working on an online system, it’s nearly ready!

So frustrating but it must be rubbish for the poor postmen too. It's causing me no end of anxiety hahahaha
