I will probably head up on Thursday evening if the weather is looking good. Hopefully there will be others there early and someone up for climbing!

I have Friday booked off work and likely heading over in the morning from Shipley. Would be space for one in the lady wagon.

Space for two in my van is for a lift share , still sleeping in a tent as it's a work van so not comfortable in the back!

Yes, I thought JR was being a bit free and easy with the sleeping space in your van!

Eh? I don't recall stating anything about offering sleeping space in anyone else's van! It's just that usually you can only get one passanger in a camper the way they are usually set up, unless you've got a something posh like a proper Transporter conversion, so there's more of a limit on lift share possibilities.

Anyway - climbing - what are people's objectives? I notice that I've not done The Crack and Kipling Groove on Gimmer, for example. I'd be pleased to be able to find a partner for them.

Cheers,

James.

Lol, I just thought I'd mention mine wasn't a conversion, just a bog standard transit custom with three seats.
I mean people can sleep in it if they want, might be a bit saw-dusty though :D
I am hoping to get there fri lunchtime. Wouldn't mind an afternoon on Raven Crag, but tbh happy almost anywhere. Rest of weekend maybe Gimmer and/or Bowfell Buttress with anyone willing.

I’m up for Gimmer. Another crag I haven’t been to so lots to go at.

CAR SHARES
It looks to be a busy bash! We will need to car share to all fit in the campsite, so please post up and I'll try and keep track of it all on the front post.

Also, don't forget your RAISED BBQ paraphernalia. I know Helen and Graham both have raised BBQs, anyone else?

May I also take this moment to say: absolutely no gluten-containing products on Helen's BBQ.

Tom and I are car sharing, I have a (definitely raised) BBQ which people are welcome to put veggie stuff on, but obviously only after my two blocks of haloumi finish cooking.

I've got a folding BBQ.

If I take Friday off, is there anyone else free that day that's interested in climbing (and that I could give a lift too)?

Claire T and I are car sharing.

The MTB crew have plans to do a day out, likely Loughrigg Terrace and maybe Iron Keld depending on weather and peoples mood. All welcome but I recommend you have a hard tail at the very least, or else you will have a battered tail, suspension is your friend

We’ve offered Graham a lift. We don’t have any more space for people but can take a couple more bikes if people need any help.
