It's probably a bit late now but my work commitments have changed so I'm driving from knaresborough on Friday morning.
Hopefully leaving about 10ish and going to try some cheeky slate routes.
Anyone still wanting a lift shout up.

Well, Snowdonia appears to have gained a dusting of snow!
Both days looking largely dry now - though MWIS still has a much higher chance of snow showers on Saturday than other forecast providers. Oh well.
Will be cold in the wind: light northerly on Saturday, more likely NW'ly and a little stronger on Sunday. Freezing level ~ 900m both days. Overnight frosts. Possibility of a dusting of snow from overnight on Saturday morning.
I'll be leaving about lunchtime from Shipley.
Plan is to do the Penmaenbach Arete scramble on the way.
Might have time to do a quick walk from the hut in the evening too.
Tayah - when you say leaving at an 'awkward time' what do you mean?

An excellent w/e despite the weather trying to foil things on Saturday morning!
Congratulations are in order to Dan and Jez for completing the Welsh 3000s in less than ideal conditions... and then going out on the road bikes the next day!

Excursions included (but were not limited to):
Moel Saibod SE ridge scramble;
Crib Goch, Snowdon Summit and then the ridges back down to the hut;
Tryfan N Ridge;
Snakes and Ladders excursion in the quarries;
Welsh 3000s!
Moel Ellio;
Flying Buttress (recommended - and do it in 4 pitches rather than 6 as described);
Penmaenbach Arete Scramble (at the second attempt at trying to find a way to the base! Also recommended - most grade 1 except for one bit that really is climbing rather than scrambling).
