Created the post early as I'll be in Font soon.

Me and Dixy will stay a bit longer and head back on wednesday, will bring a BBQ. Excited for some early wild adventures, I'll be doing my best sun dance!

New members are welcome on any meet as long as they have the prerequisite skills for their chosen activity. Since Pembroke is mostly sea cliff climbing you would be to be able to tie in, belay a leader, abseil and some basic self rescue knowledge would be advantageous. You would also need your own harness, helmet and belay device/carabiner. If you're not confident abseiling etc, then I probably wouldn't recommend this one but if you give me an idea of your skill level I can suggest some other ones

As Lindsay eludes to this meet is not best for beginners as sea cliff climbing is a serious undertaking. If you can lead belay, and have your own harness, shoes and helmet then either the Tuesday after work meets or the up coming Lake district meets will be a great place to get stuck in with the LMC and hopefully by the big August Pembroke trip comes around you'll have the skills to climb safely!

So it turns out I might have been ambitious planning back to back font and Pembroke and I'm considering bailing to somewhere closer this weekend I can't quite face another super long drive

A few are heading to chapel house farm. Might have to call and check if there's space, if not hollows farm is an option and just meet at shepherds
