Walking Meet - Saturday 23rd April - Pen-y-ghent

Hello,
Meeting on Saturday 23rd April at 10am at Helwith Bridge: https://goo.gl/maps/JyU2HuvZtVvAkCuf7
There looks to be lay-by parking opposite Helwith Bridge Inn, road parking just past the pub and also a big gravel car park/area which I think would be ok to leave a few cars in by the pub.
Leaving Helwith Bridge we'll walk along Moor Head Lane then follow the 2nd track north/north-east across Great Moor Head and Mean Moss before joining the Pennine Way path to the summit of Pen-y-ghent. We'll then follow the ridge to Plover Hill before going north and down to Foxup Moor. Turning west/south west the walk returns to Horton in Ribblesdale along the valley floor, passing close to Hull Pot and over Horton Scar. From Horton in Ribblesdale we'll continue along the river path called Ribble Way back to Helwith Bridge.
Two potential pub stops and plenty of shorter walk options. I won't list them all but an obvious one would be to summit Pen-y-Ghent and then head straight down west to Hull Pot and then back to the Horton in Ribblesdale village. The end of this route would be the same as above.
The longer walk will be about 20km (~13 miles). For the shorter option it will be about 15.5km (~10 miles). For anyone wanting a shorter walk still please do post up as there is an alternative track up Pen-y-Ghent from Helwith Bridge and a more direct way down to Horton in Ribblesdale over Brackenbottom Scar.
Please post up if you'd like to come!
