Post by gorgonzola »

Is anyone planning to go to this meet? Im keen to climb some low grade trad, looks like a good place to do that! Happy to share a lift although I was considering camping out afterwards

I’m sure people will - I’m planning to, for example, and know of others that are keen - but the meet leader is probably having too much fun to get round to posting the official thread with parking, timing etc… they often don’t get put up till the Sunday night (partially because people are busy over the weekend, partially to wait for clarity with the weather!)

Did I forget I said I'd do this one? Of course not!

Rylstone is one of the loveliest venues in Yorkshire. Loads of fabulous slabs to go at with crowd pleasing views.

Anything else that needs saying? Who's coming?

(Best not to camp at the crag or on the moor itself to ensure good relations with the gamekeepers)

Presumably parking is as described here - https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/rylstone-548/ - or of course in Will’s new guidebook! I’m very keen for Dental and President’s slabs

I'm hoping to come - depending on whether I can get out of work in good time.

I would like to come. Ideally I'd like to climb in a 3 or second some lower grades (up to VS) if that works for anyone

I'm hoping to go but ideally want to car share to save a bit of money.
