Wharncliffe Saturday 18th June

Done with holidays until the next one,

The official Climbing venue this Saturday is Wharncliffe (South of Leeds, almost to Sheffield, don't forget to pack the Eastern Grit guidebook rather than Yorkshire Grit). Map, routes and other shenanigans to be found below:

There's a great selection of routes at most grades including loads in the Diff-HS range; should be able to get there at about 9:30

Apparently there is additional parking to that suggested by UKC that is marginally better (Finkle St Ln, Soughley Ln, Sheffield S35 7DL)

Note that we ask you to have rockshoes, harness and belay plate, ideally a helmet - and the ability to use all these; we cannot instruct so you must be able to tie in competently and belay a lead climber.
