Given the weather forecast, I think its best to cancel and go to Armley Depot for 6pm instead.
Sitting up high in the moors above Huddersfield, on one of West Yorkshire's tallest hills, Buckstone Edge is a long gritstone edge chock full of easier bouldering problems, with the highlight of a huge roof with more strenuous projects to get your teeth into in the Pig in a Pokey area. If the crazy heat remains, it should be much more refreshing up there than here in the hot streets of Leeds. Though there does seem to be a hint of thunderstorms in the weather forecast, so we'll have to see how that develops.
You can find a good crag topo on the Kirklees Climbing site

I'll aim to be there from about 4pm. Reply to this post if you to join me!

Re: Buckstone Edge 16th August
I'm planning to come, hopefully there about 4.30. The weather does look a bit unpredictable!

Should probably be able to make it, if non- thundery (though it’s not looking good unless you look at the Met Office!)… will either be there from possibly 5:30 or head somewhere indoors (I would vote Armley Depot) from about 6!

I'll be there assuming it's not pissing it down.
