WEATHER UPDATE: Rain stops play (again). A few splitters are going to Almscliff but I think most people are either on holiday or possibly depoting.
This week's excursion, subject to the approval of the weather gods, will be to Eastby Crag. Not too polished, a short (albeit steep...) walk in with a fair few starred routes to tick off. The met office reckons there will be a breeze, which should hopefully keep the midge count down but an early retreat to the pub has been known to happen...

Don't think I can make it early enough to be worthwhile sadly. Anyone for Caley (non roadside)? Or perhaps Chevin Buttress.

Met office says 80% chance of rain at 7pm, so alas, no Eastby tonight. Obviously, since I've decided this, it won't rain at all...
