It looks like this w/e, the weather will finally break down, so would there be any interest in what is my favourite local walk, taking in varied terrain above and below the mighty escarpment of Guisecliffe in Nidderdale this coming Saturday?
Expect wild moorland, follies, sylvian woodland, the teeming metropolis of Pately Bridge, buccolic riversides and Tolkeinesque meres, all with added 'autumn colour'
Currently the forecast is showery and fairly breezy from the west.
Exactly where and when we start will depend on how many takers I end up with (i.e. I might need to start in a different place with more parking).
Let me know if you're interested.
