I've got my provisions today - Corona Extra comes in cans now! The unstoppable march of progress eh?! ;-)

With regard to Cath's other requests - there's certainly some others yet to contribute on the list...

Alice - oooo - I'd be very grateful - for once I won't need to drive!

We'll talk logistics during the week.

Given that the forecast is indicating, er, 'challenging' conditions (at least for Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon) - what do people have in mind as activities?

Would there be any desire to go to the Beacon, for example?

Alternatively, would there be any desire to explore along the north Anglesea coast?

I need to start training for ski-touring, so might look at doing 'the Matterhorn of Snowdonia' (ie. Cnicht) or some other straight up and down job, if the weather isn't too vile...

Btw - after talking to Martin last night, I'm going to stick my indoor climbing stuff in, in case there is a contingent heading to the Beacon on Saturday. Still hope Sunday will be 'scrambable'.

Is there a Key Code for getting into the hut? If so, please can this be put on the Private Section. Otherwise, how do we get into the hut?

I will probably arrive early evening on Friday (likely earlier than the Leeds contingent), so need to be sure I can get in if I'm the first to arrive.

Unless there's a radical improvement in the forecast, I'm not going to bother bringing trad climbing gear. Will bring kit for walking and indoor climbing. I'd also be interested to know what peoples' plans are for MTBing.

Hello! It's nearly time!

It looks like we're in for quite a feast. I think the things missing from the list are: avocado/guacamole, jalapenos, salad.

I'll take guacamole, would anyone be up for bringing either of the others?

Code is going in the private section along with my mobile no.

Other things to note:
  • We need to bring tea towels
We need to bring our own wood for the log burner
The on/off switch for the central heating is on the stairs in the dining room
The hot water switch is by the front door (left off when we leave)
Fridges off at the end of stay
    Bin bags are not guaranteed

I'll stick a bin bag in with my kit then. If a couple of other people do that then we should be ok.

Hi Dan - thanks for the update.

The salad I'll be making is based on avocados, but I'm sure some guacamole won't go amiss. (btw. I can recommend Lidl for cheap good quality avocados).

See you all tomorrow!
