Ok, it's just me and Clare A from Shipley - so we've got space for at least one more if need be. Might make sense for someone on the west side of Leeds? We'd be leaving after work on Friday.

Hi. I live in the Nidderdale area (Near Menwith Hill), therefore Skipton enroute if anyone wants a lift on Friday. Otley also nearby if that helps.

John Nightingale is also in Otley so that's an obvious lift share (assuming he ever sees this in time!)

@Peter - it'll be after 5p.m. - though don't forget that Emm is 'your' side of Leeds, so there's another more local opportunity too. Let us know how you get on.

For those heading out high over the w/e - expect patches of water ice, so pack micro-spikes if you have them; and being above an inversion and so in very bright sunshine, so pack some sunnies!

I wanna try to avoid taking the Smart Roadster that distance if I can. Also haven't packed yet so dunno how much space I would have in theory if I did take it... (Enquiring about car shares right now...)

What are members of this weekend's group likely to do outdoors? Should I leave the rack at home?

I have been drooling over Ruddy Gill & Great End Circuit and Sourmilk Gill & Grey Knotts Face circular routes in my copy of Lake District Climbs and Scrambles both of which start at Seathwaite...
