I'm travelling up on Saturday morning and most probably will trip over and fall into the Hawkshead Chrimbo market! :D

Mike and I are setting off from Kirkstall at about 2pm on Friday.
Going up the A65, if anyone en-route wants a lift and has the afternoon off.

It might be worth adding that Em and joey are sharing transport, and that I'm likely to also be giving Peter A a lift too.

Well, this all looks fabulous!
Sorry you’ve got ‘Rona Vicky, really bad timing, but stay chipper.
Sarah, glad you’ve recovered from Rona, and puds are being assembled.
Clare, I’ll also pack tea towels (and potentially hand cream for post washing up hand care).
Anna the soups sound amazing
Looking forward to meeting Sammie and Ben (and of course everyone else)
I may join JR (if he’ll have me) on Scarfell (not in the biblical sense) or might just do the pike.
I’ll shove some fire lighters in for that tubby stove
Lights at the ready
Drive safe and watch out for the bridge just before the hut!
Out (not over and out, Claire)

Sara - I actually meant the Pike! I don't want to be back too late.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for the weekend at K-Shoes. It was my first hut meet as a new member and I would like to thank you all for being so welcoming. After 12 miles up on the fells the Christmas Dinner was outstanding but I have to say the Mushroom soup takes the winning rosette. Thank you all again and i look forward to seeing you all again soon. Have a fabulous Christmas. John

Glad to hear you enjoyed it John (and get to understand our 'Never Knowingly Undercatered' tagline)!

Though bear in mind you shall henceforth be known as 'John Stuffing'! ;-)

Big thanks to Andy for leading and marshaling the kitchen team again - and for arranging some half-decent weather for a change!

Everyone back home safely I trust?

That was a fantastic weekend all round. Thanks so much to Andy for organising a top notch dinner and everyone who contributed/baked/chopped

Just wondering if anyone picked up a plastic bag containing tea towels from the worktop as I seem to have forgotten to bring them home again?
