Walking Meet - Sun 5th March - Simon's Seat

Hello,

Our next walking meet is this coming Sunday 5th March.

Meeting at Barden Bridge at 10am.

The route: Leaving Barden Bridge we will take the river path towards The Strid and on to the Bolton Abbey Pavilion Cafe for elevenses! From there, we'll cross the river and head up the Valley of Desolation and across Barden Fell to Simon's Seat. We'll return along the river to Barden Bridge. The route is about 10 miles.

Parking is very limited at Barden Bridge but there is normally some space up the road at Barden Tower. Car sharing is very much encouraged for this meet!

Hiya, I've just joined as a new member, haven't paid membership but I'd like to come tomorrow if possible? Sorry it's last minute, only just registered for the bulletin boards. I'm in Halifax and can drive if needs be but happy to meet somewhere to share lifts if it works!

Nice, will be good to see you Melissa & Matthew. Not sure where you are coming from Matthew but you might be able to coordinate lifts with Joey?! Melissa if your route passes near Bingley we could take you from there. My number is in the private section.
