Outdoor climbing at God's own crag as some call it. Despite its flaws. Judge it by birds nest crack and not the start of v chimney.
Early weather indicates this will be sufficiently dry.
Remember to bring harness, belay plate, helmet and the ability to lead belay safely.
Pub afterwards optional

Suppose I have to climb at the cliff at least once this year...

Didn't make it to depot last week so will definitely come for this and get to meet some of you.
Somewhat of a novice trad climber, but can bring my rack and rope. I've lead up to VS at almscliff but would also be keen to second someone with a bit more mileage than me!
Looking forward to it,
Will
P.S: what sort of time do people usually arrive?

From 6ish usually, and there's usually a semi-take over of low man before people drift off to other bits.
Weather is looking smashing. Which for the first week of April is a bonus! Be warned however can get windy on the 'cliff so bring layers.

I'll be there. Maybe to climb, maybe just to heckle.
Possibly both.

I'll be about.
James, how early you getting there?
...start of V chimney is pucker, just the rest of it that didn't agree with me last time.

@WastelandBilly, I don't have anything identifiable I can wear but someone from the club will almost certainly be there by 5/6pm. For finding us then if not lower man, someone is usually doing either birds nest crack or black wall.

Novice, leading VS at Almscliffe? That's a baptism of fire.
Every day I wake up and think "I'm not in Hull any more" and the world is a happy place.
