Trow Gill Sunday 4th June

Post by JR »

Yorkshire's not all about gritstone you know!

Any interest in a Dales limestone day next w/e (the one after the BH)?

Again, venue to be decided depending on the weather and number's interested, but it'll probably be a sport one!

@JWA - possibly Sunday then. When are you likely to know whether you're free?

@SarahS - what are you after? Most places don't have much below F6a.

Mostly the stuff below 6a  I suppose I can try lead some 6s there. Or just bimble around on second.

Sunday is good for me.
Venue ok too - enough of my lowly grades for one days' climbing!

What time? Meet Clapham or at the crag?

John - I'd say meet in Clapham and walk in 'over the top' to avoid the 'tourist tax' - I'll be aiming for 10am at the latest. It'll be worth attempting to car share as the parking is pay and display (and it might be quite busy given the good forecast).

Anyone else?

JR.

PS. Remember to put sunblock on the back of your legs if you're wearing shorts... ;-)

Am interested although not sure I will be leading much. Will confirm nearer time though as already discussed

Just as a reminder, some of the Trow Gill routes are quite long, so you'll need at least a 40m rope.
