Tan Yr Wyddfa (Rhyd Ddu, Snowdonia), 20th-21st October
Roll up, roll up for the first hut meet of the autumn! We're going to somewhere the club haven't been to for a while, the Rhyd Ddu valley south of Snowdon! While I'm not sure if we've ever stayed in this particular hut (https://www.oread.co.uk/huts/tan-yr-wyddfa/), I think I have been here before with another club, and if it's the hut I'm thinking of ended up rolling out pastry with a wine bottle! Lesson of the story: this hut is mostly well-equipped, but if you're planning on using pastry for the communal meal bring your own rolling pin...
Perfectly located for the picturesque, and less well-travelled, Rhyd Ddu path up Snowdon, as well as adventures in the Moelwyns, there's both a pub and a teashop in the village for your choice of post-adventure libations.
There are 17 places for those keen to make use of the last weekend before the clocks change, who's coming? Booking opens on Wednesday 20th September, book in the usual way (viewtopic.php?t=6575).
Cost is £15 p.p.p.n., so once your place is confirmed you'll need to transfer the club (bank details in the private section) £30.

Let's hope the weather isn't too Welsh again!

Apparently (according to the Internet) the Modern Male (tm) spends most of their time thinking about the Roman Empire these days... apparently...

For me it was actually this huge image front and center on the hut's website the sold the meet to me. All the LADS is just a happy bonus.
